#52 Half an hour
These are the breaks
Thirty minutes. That’s how long I get for my lunch break at my new job. Thirty minutes, thirty times sixty seconds.
Luckily, I work in the heart of the city, close to Gent’s main bus hub, the fanciest shopping street and the red-light district.
This past week, I brought my Fuji X-T30 to work and I was fortunate, the sun cast beautiful contrasts and lit up people’s faces with joy. Well, except in the red-light district. There, people kept their heads down, nervously glancing at the windows as they walked by. I haven’t dared to photograph them yet, but I will, once the days grow shorter and darkness falls.

Some really nice work here. I end up doing a lot of shooting during little breaks in my work day too. I especially love "Brabantdam 5.15 PM", "Koophandelsplein", "Shopping Gent Zuid, entrance", "Woodrow Wilsonplein."
